• Step 1

    Review History and Symptoms

Tell us about vision changes, health conditions, medications, and daily screen or driving demands. Bring current glasses or contacts and your insurance card.

  • Step 2

    Vision and Refraction Testing

We check visual acuity and perform refraction to determine your glasses prescription. Additional tests may assess focusing, alignment, and peripheral awareness.

  • Step 3

    Eye Health Screening

Your optometrist evaluates the front and, when appropriate, the inside of the eyes for signs that may need monitoring or referral. Dilation is recommended only when clinically useful.

  • Step 4

    Results, Recommendations, and Eyewear

We explain findings in plain language and outline next steps — new glasses, contact lens referral, follow-up interval, or co-management with your physician when needed.
